Your role

Are you a strong analytical and inventive thinker? Do you enjoy developing customized ideas and secondary solutions for private equity firms, clients and investors?

We\'re looking for someone who can:

• be part of a business that provides integrated secondary advisory and fundraising solutions for private equity firms
• be involved in the execution of complex secondary advisory transactions across both LP-led and GP-led liquidity solutions as part of the APAC Secondary Advisory Team. The team takes on assignments across a broad range of industries (our clients represent all sectors - generalist, financial services, tech, energy, consumer products, real estate, etc.) and investment strategies (buyout, growth equity, venture, special situations, emerging markets, etc.)
• proactively take ownership and project manage key secondary transaction workstreams and day-to-day tasks
• conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on private equity firms, their portfolio companies, valuations, institutional investors and their respective portfolio strategies
• as a senior member of the Global Secondary Advisory team, effectively position and communicate proposed transactions to potential investors
• lead and develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options and recommend solutions to meet client goals
• generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
• identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors

Your team

As a member of the Private Funds Group (PFG), you\'ll be working in the Alternative Capital Group ("ACG") within Global Banking, providing global advisory services for private fund sponsors and their investors. The APAC Secondary Advisory team is a market-leading group integrated within a best-in-class primary placement business. You\'ll play an important role in advising clients on a range of liquidity and strategic solutions including LP Tender Offers, Fund Recapitalizations, Single/Multi Asset-Continuation Funds, Structured Portfolio Sales, GP Stakes and Management Company Financing.

Your expertise

• a bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Over 3 years of prior, relevant experience in a similar position or related financial services position (ideally within a secondary investment firm)
• familiarity performing financial and valuation analyses and utilizing financial services industry databases and tools. Strong financial modelling skills and grasp of corporate finance tools
• good understanding and hands-on exposure to private equity and/or other alternative asset classes, will be beneficial
• a solid understanding of the private equity market and secondary market in Asia Pacific
• able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
