Select Alternative Investments is a Direct Investments Platform focused on Private Equity, Real Estate and Venture Capital. We target private investment opportunities alongside our investors and provide access to our proprietary deal sourcing.
All investments are structured in-house by our team of investment professionals located in Singapore, Zurich, Vienna, and Ho Chi Minh City.
In order to support our rapidly growing business, we are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated colleague to work directly within our global team.
Tasks
Stakeholder communication:
Active monitoring of all company\xe2\x80\x99s touchpoints with its stakeholders and timely replying to submitted queries, observing excellent levels of written and verbal communication.
Preparing & reviewing written content to be shared with stakeholders (i.e.: general announcements, letters, capital calls, distributions, \xe2\x80\xa6)
Producing & updating client presentations, marketing materials, and case studies
Setting up, testing, and sending out targeted & personalized mass email communication
Creating & Maintaining investor communication databases and data rooms
Settlement/Operational support:
Liaise with multiple internal teams to coordinate and monitor the execution of subscription, capital call, and distribution processes.
Monitor capital call execution process, send periodic updates to the team and follow up with relationship managers regarding unexecuted notices.
Liaise with banks and service providers to resolve any settlement complication
Upload definitive sales materials to Select Alternative Investments cloud systems
Actively support relationship manager by providing information and analysis to assist with capital raising and investor relations
Investor onboarding:
Assist the compliance team with the investor onboarding process
Proactively checking investor\xe2\x80\x99s custody information upfront of capital calls
Book building:
Manage book building process by monitoring incoming capital allocation requests and accordingly inputting data into the system
Periodic reporting regarding book building status/position
Check and sign-off Book Building system data against investors\xe2\x80\x99 requests
Requirements
Extremely attentive to detail
Fluent in English with high levels of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Familiarity working on cloud environments and setting up automation engines.
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a virtual team (spread across the globe)
Strong analytical skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed
Self-starter who works with low supervision & under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Degree from a leading university, preferably in business, finance or related subject
Ideally relevant experience (around 0-3 years)
Basic understanding of database structures
