Job Description
Overview
As an IoT Engineer, you will support the project implementation, solution testing, and delivery of Ampotech\xe2\x80\x99s connected devices for smart homes and buildings. The ideal candidate will possess technical capability in embedded systems, and/or web API development and testing, basic computer networks knowledge, to support device testing and system integration, as well as proficiency in customer-facing activities such as gathering project requirements, conducting site surveys, and supervising contractors carrying out installation activities. Knowledge in the electricity metering system, SCADA system or PLC programming is a strong plus.
The IoT Engineer role is suitable for fresh graduates or early-career engineers interested in gaining exposure to energy and sustainability, IoT systems, and field applications.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Prior project or work experience with embedded systems, sensors/meters, or internet of things
- Strong organization and written/spoken communication skills
- Comfortable working in the office or at a customer site
