Overview of role

Do you have experience in the world of Intellectual Property or aspire to build business by leveraging Intellectual Property assets? You should be motivated to read patents, search for information (patents, designs, products, trademarks, social listening etc) using various digital tools, identify competitive intelligence, detect and act against infringers. This requires collaborating with R&D and Legal, have a scientific/engineering skillset and have fun while learning and engaging alongside multifunctional global teams. Your team

Located at the P&G Singapore Innovation Center at Biopolis, you will be part of the Intellectual Property team within R&D organization here in Singapore. You will have the opportunity to work with the different partners across functions globally.

How success looks like

Success in this role is in ensuring executional excellence, maturity in prioritizing business needs and building expertise in P&G\xe2\x80\x99s global IP programs. Another imperative skill will be in influencing stakeholders on sector strategies and in-market enforcements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D IP filing portfolio establishment and renewals of our Beauty organization
• Assist in IP enforcements in major markets
• Influence, develop and receive approvals of the different Business categories\' IP strategies
• Enhance design-related patent process
• Provide broad and specific IP training to the R&D communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in law or related fields
• Additional qualification/ background in engineering or science areas
• 5+ years of relevant IP experience
• Leadership quality to strategize, deploy, break barriers and complete projects
• Proven track record of developing and delivering successful IP strategies
• Communicates openly, able to adapt to diversity of thought, creates trustful relationshhips, leads and collaborates with willingness, fairness and integrity
• Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and externally.
