Job Description

What the role is:

The intern will be attached to the Service Research Team within Service Operations and Management (SOM) team under the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM). The Service Research team aims to drive thought leadership for Service Management in the Singapore Public Service.

What you will be working on:

The intern will be providing support on core research projects on public service delivery, in addition to other ad-hoc duties. This will include deriving best practices and uncovering trends in service delivery, from public and private sector, locally and internationally, as well as measuring the state of service delivery through quantitative and qualitative research. The responsibilities for the role include: - Landscape research on public service operations and delivery - Conceptualising user journeys for consumers of public service - Report writing, proofreading and analysis - Designing research methodologies to address research objectives - Interpreting results of studies and development recommendations to improve public service delivery

What we are looking for:

-Some experience and/or knowledge on research methodology and statistics -Possesses strong analytical skills -Possesses strong written and oral communication skills -An interest in public sector and service delivery work -Ability to work both independently and in a team
