Job Scope:\xc2\xb7 Expected to work professionally in managing and training students, working with teachers and support school-wide projects and operations\xc2\xb7 Manage and operate the Makers Garage\xc2\xb7 Train and mentor projects relating to the Makers Garage\xc2\xb7 Provide school-wide ICT support which includes professional media support and additional technical expertise to handle the increasingly sophisticated ICT implementation in schools (examples: support media equipment setup, TV messaging, video recording & editing and web conferencing for teaching and learning);\xc2\xb7 Manage the implementation of events in schools (examples: media equipment setup, live streaming for major school events etc);\xc2\xb7 Execute daily operational and administrative duties (examples: schedule for events, setup, test, monitor and troubleshoot audio, video and control systems problems as and when is required);\xc2\xb7 Perform preventive maintenance for all media equipment to ensure that they are well maintained and in good working condition (Identify, recommend, purchase, install and configure equipment and services as when required);\xc2\xb7 Maintain Audio Visual / Video conferencing equipment inventory, generate monthly reports and highlight low inventory numbers or faulty equipment;\xc2\xb7 Be a point of contact for vendors, work closely with them to install and troubleshoot the issues (installing, testing, operating, maintaining and dismantling of equipment);\xc2\xb7 Train students in Media Resource Club during their designated CCA days on Public announcement (PA) system, photography and videography;\xc2\xb7 To assist, guide and advice students for Media related competitions, e.g. OSOS (Our Schools; Our Stories), etc.\xc2\xb7 Provide support to the school in areas of videography and photography\xc2\xb7 Other duties include providing consultancy and assisting all teachers in media-related matters and problems.\xc2\xb7 Assist the Head ICT in other ICT related matters.Working Arrangement:Location: HougangWorking Hours:\xc2\xb7 Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm\xc2\xb7 Fridays: 7:30am to 4.00pm\xc2\xb7 Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidaysContract Duration: 1 Jan 2025 - 31 Dec 2025Salary: $2700/MonthJob Requirements:\xc2\xb7 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as ICT trainer, preferably in a MOE secondary school environment\xc2\xb7 1 year experience in training students in public announcement (PA) system\xc2\xb7 1 year experience in training students in photography, preferably in a secondary school\xc2\xb7 1 year experience in training students videography, preferably in a secondary school\xc2\xb7 A Diploma in a relevant discipline\xc2\xb7 Relevant experience in managing a makerspace\xc2\xb7 Familiar with common apps for iOS supporting makerspace (e.g. polycam)\xc2\xb7 Technical skills pertaining to daily AV equipment setup, TV messaging, video recording & editing, live streaming, web conferencing etc and during school events AV support\xc2\xb7 Ability to pick up and provide training for staff and students on ICT tools used by the school\xc2\xb7 Possess a positive attitude and good analytical skills,\xc2\xb7 A good team player who is proactive in sharing both suggestions and concerns,\xc2\xb7 Possess good communication and interpersonal skills as required for a trainer\xc2\xb7 Adaptable to flexible work hours/working outside stipulated working hours whenever necessaryEA License No.: 96C4864Reg.
