Responsible for analysing business requirements and working with both business and technical team to administer the application lifecycle includes migration, analyses, design, implement and supporting assigned application(s).
Requires a strong understanding of software development processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Provide regional support for deployed software solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Ensure that request logged with ticketing tool is resolved in a timely manner.
Migrate legacy application to new technology with global team alignment. (Documentum, Lotus notes app, Sharepoint & etc.)
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Work with independently to design, develop, and implement software automation solutions. E.g. Power Automate.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, functional specifications, and user manuals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and ensure project success.
Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure software solutions meet business requirements.
Participate in project planning and provide input on timelines, resources, and risks.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software development.
Provide onsite and regional (India) helpdesk support (20%).
Requirements
Minimally a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Software Development.
Certification in one or more domain preferred: Project Management, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft M365 Suite.
Strong understanding and proficiency in MS Sharepoint, Teams, PowerAutomate & PowerApps.
Experience in Document Management System, preferably in Documentum.
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus.
