Job Summary The incumbent shall be involved in strategizing and implementation of projects and initiatives involving the requirement study, documentation, implementation, monitoring, tracking, report Job Summary The incumbent shall be involved in strategizing and implementation of projects and initiatives involving the requirement study, documentation, implementation, monitoring, tracking, reporting, and improvising of the data governance, data management and data security related aspects of IT application systems within the Organisation. Scope of Work - Expected to collect and validate business requirements in relation to the Integrated Data Management Framework (IDMF) and to integrate it as part of the data governance and data security solutioning for the various IT systems: i. Defining, formulating, aligning, and documenting relevant data protection and privacy procedures with inputs from various internal and external stakeholders that are aligned with IM8 standards for various internal IT applications systems, as part of the application development process ii. Ensuring the documentation of the appropriate physical, logical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data iii. Documenting the process for simulated data security breaches and to identify and improve the process and data security controls as necessary iv. Conducting Data Risk Assessment to identify any data governance and data security risks, and to propose mitigating steps to reduce the inherent data governance and data security risks v. Conducting and documenting Personal Data Protection Impact Assessment study for related IT application systems, and to propose mitigating steps to reduce inherent Personal Data Protection Risks - Ad-hoc assisgments Work Experience. a. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in delivering data governance/management projects with the ability to work with system and business users to seek and define requirements b. Candidate should have experience in working within information/ record management with a good understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management and carrying out business audits and requirements gathering c. Robust understanding of the key elements of data protection law/ regulation and how it interfaces with digital and logical security d. Experience of gathering requirements for data warehouse or similar data systems preferred e. Good understanding of Agile Project Management Methodology preferred f. BA with recent relevant experience in Change Management, Risk Management and Incident Management will be an added advantage. g. Recent relevant experience in supporting Government Projects will be an added advantage. h. A good understanding and knowledge of relevant Government Data Governance Standards and Regulations such as IM8 and PSGA would be highly advantageous. General Skillset. a. Excellent writing skills with the ability to create guidelines, procedures and other required documentations b. Adaptive and flexible with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced matrix environment, overseeing multiple projects concurrently and managing conflicting priorities c. Strong problem resolution and negotiation skills to manage and deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders d. Meticulous and result-driven and possess the drive, commitment, and perseverance to do well and have strong intellectual curiosity to learn and seek continuous improvements in the work assigned e. Good understanding of the principle of IT security and data protection preferred f. Take an interest in digital health and healthcare Technical Skillset. BA with relevant experiences and certifications (GRCP, CIPM, etc.) in Data Compliance, Data Governance systems, Data Protection Operational Excellence and Data Protection Principles will be an added advantage. Minimum Educational Qualification. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Business Management, Law or Information Management with major / project experience in data science from a recognised university. Professional certifications in data governance, data analytics, business analytics or related fields or Master's Degree would be advantageous
