In this role, your job will be to design, develop and support operations support systems (OSS). You will be involved in application design, development, testing, as well as support and maintenance of the systems, to ensure that systems meet user’s functional and system requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement workshop to capture software and system requirement
- Work with business analyst to define software requirement
- Design, Build and maintain software application and automation scripts for automating process or infrastructure management tasks such and provisioning, troubleshooting, resolution, configuration change, compliance check
- Participate and work in an agile environment to deliver software release according to release schedule
- Develop automation scripts for the deployment and release of software code and packages.
- Ensure that system and software quality adhere to standards, policies, and procedures
- Manage code documentation and version control
- Troubleshoot and debug software
- Participate in on-call rotation to resolve production issue
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in software development and implementation
- Knowledge in automation solution such as, Ansible, Unix, Powershell Scripting and RPA
- Knowledge in at least one programming languages such as Javascript, Java, Python or C#
- Knowledge in Linux or Windows operating system administration
- Knowledge in version control software such as GIT
- Good communication, written and problem-solving skills
