Responsibilities

• Create design for infrastructure management system and solution to support the delivery of managed services.
• Perform OS, software installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting
• Design and implementation automation workflow for managed service provisioning ( System & Network )
• Develop automation scripts to perform system installation, configuration, troubleshooting tasks
• Provide technical consultation, training as well as expertise to Business Leaders and users
• Ensure system meet security policies and standards
• Manage partner/vendor as part of implementation team
• Manage and support processes required for governance of deployed solution
• Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and design robust automated solutions to optimize IT operations and service delivery
• Scripting and Coding: Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools to develop scripts and workflows for automating routine tasks, provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring
• Integration with Monitoring and Management Tools: Integrate automation solutions with monitoring and management tools to enable proactive monitoring, alerting, and remediation of IT infrastructure issues
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation for automated processes, workflows, and procedures. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to transfer automation expertise to team members
• Collaboration with BAU Teams: Work closely with Business-As-Usual (BAU) teams to understand operational requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment of automation initiatives with business objectives

Requirements

• Tertiary education in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in enterprise / solution architecture planning, design and implementation. At least 5 years on hands-on experience in relevant technology area.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix/Windows Administration
• Experience with managed services provisioning system ( Cloud, System, Virtualization, Network, etc )
• Experience in development using Python, PowerShell, Javascript or similar.
• Experience in web service and system integration
• Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Ansible or other commercial products
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
• Experience in service management methodologies and tools such as ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, networking concepts, and cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins)
• Good problem solving skills
• Passion for solution development and automation, and actively look for opportunities to develop tools to streamline and simplify the development and delivery process
• Good understanding with Systems, networking and development tools
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle
• Self-motivated and have attention to detail

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year Agency contract employment.
