Job Description

Direct Search Global is working with an international maritime company to fill the role of IT Consultant (Finance Application) in their Singapore office.

• Maintain the Company\'s IT environment (network, servers, PCs, etc) to ensure continued, secure, and stable operation.
• Support both local and remote users on IT related issues.
• Setup, configure and troubleshoot server, network infrastructure and security for the Company.
• Design and implement new system and network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Ensure data backup and recovery, plans for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
• Ensure high availability of services through regular server and network maintenance.
• Implement security patches for operating systems, servers, and network devices.
• Involve in new technology evaluation and IT hardware/software requisition assessment & purchases.
• Deal with IT Vendors for hardware, software, contract renewal and any other IT infrastructure related items and services.
• Maintain and review system documents, operation manual and relevant Audit / Control documents.
• Ensure compliance of IT infrastructure with company IT policies and security requirements.
• Part of the overall Global IT Infrastructure Team
• Any other IT related ad-hoc tasks.

• At least 1-3 years of working experiences in IT networking and Infrastructure support.
• At least 1-3 years of hand-on experiences in Windows Server administration, Hypervisor (VMware and HyperV), AD, DNS, DHCP, File Servers management, storage, Microsoft 365, Exchange online, Azure AD, SharePoint, Cloud backup operations, etc.
• At least 1-3 years of hand-on experiences in implementation, administration and troubleshooting of network switches, Wi-Fi system, firewall & security appliance (Fortinet), cyber security, etc.
• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent in relevant field.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions such as full set of accounts.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Proven experience with Implementing Firewall and VLAN environment.
• Familiar with Cloud platforms.
• Experience in Site-To-Site Network connectivity implementation
• Proactive and willing to learn.
