Job Description

This role is mostly focused on maintaining and upgrading the engineering EDA infrastructure, working with R&D teams closely on all IT-related issues, developing and optimizing EDA flows and build up in-house tool.





Responsibilities:





Install, upgrade EDA tools and licenses, monitors LSF farm and code server closely and debug the issues instantly. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuously deploy pipelines. Work on Linux backend to assist in develop shell scripts for automation, manage cronjobs, help in the development of Engineering applications in the PHP/MySQL (MariaDB)/Apache when necessary. Provide limited EDA tool support. Perform all security/compliance functions for code version control and user database. Reinforce IT security policy in all flows, stay vigilant with all IT incidents. Work with remote folks, identify technical issues with R&D flows, workout permanent solution or workaround for RD teams. Provide IT guidance to RD staff.


Requirements:





Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience directly related to the duties specified above in an IT environment. Good Communicator, strong analytical and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environment. Familiar with SGE/LSF job scheduler. Working knowledge of EDA license management. Working knowledge of EDA software administration and installation. High script skills, willing to learn new stuff. * Good knowledge of version control software, such as Git/Gerrit/Jenkins/ClearCase.
