The IT Intern will support the IT team in daily operational tasks including troubleshooting, system maintenance, hardware/software support, user account management, and IT inventory upkeep. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate IT environments and foundational experience in IT support and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
Support the setup, installation, and configuration of laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
Respond to support tickets and provide timely updates to users.
System & Network Support
Assist in maintaining and monitoring network connectivity and performance.
Support routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, antivirus checks, and patch management.
Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems (e.g., Windows AD, email, cloud apps).
Asset & Inventory Management
Update and maintain IT equipment inventory logs.
Assist in issuing, receiving, and tracking company devices and accessories.
Documentation & Process Improvement
Create and update IT knowledge base articles and user guides.
Help document troubleshooting steps, system procedures, and workflow improvements.
Learning Outcomes

IT service management workflows (e.g., ticketing systems, asset lifecycle)
Endpoint setup, configuration, and security
Basic network administration and troubleshooting
