Job Description


An Asia based Real Estate investor, owner and operator is in search of an IT Manager to join their team on a full time basis in in Singapore.

In this role the IT Manager, will be responsible for the design, build, and enhancement of IT infrastructure and systems based on business requirements and oversee the enhancement, implementation, reporting, and support the company\'s different business units - finance, operations, human resources, risk and compliance, investment, and portfolio management.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the incumbent will be responsible for building, implementing, and overseeing the firm\'s IT systems, processes, workflows, and procedures in accordance with the company\'s governance framework. The IT Manager will also pay a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization on its digital journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide enterprise level architectural design, lifecycle management, guidance, and support for adoption of multi-cloud and hybrid
  • Provide architectural standards and compliance for IT projects, adopt cloud native or hybrid technology from various service providers that serves the workplace design in accordance with the development of the
  • Ensure that the IT team provide necessary IT architecture that can meet business need and manage its life
  • Prepare and periodically update IT documentation and artifacts, including but not limited to architecture diagram, technical specification, system test plan, and system operations
  • Maintain and monitor relationships with external vendors where reliance is placed on system and ensure internal compliance of outsourced
  • Coordinating and supervising external implementation partners for their delivery of quality services and providing end-user support by handling their enquiries and requests in a timely
  • Responsible for Cybersecurity framework and incident handling for the company.
  • Interacts with external and internal audit teams in relation to IT controls and
  • Contribute to the development of IT team such as training, recruitment, development of best practices, knowledge base and internal promotion/communication.
  • Design, implement, and enhance systems based on business requirements for the company and its affiliates where
  • Ensure the availability and reliability of the network infrastructure and the services supplied and operated by the company.
  • Oversee all physical access, voice and video conferencing, mobile device management and relevant IT systems in business operations across the company.
  • Supports the Managing Partners in contributing to the business plan and where IT fits into the business
  • Manages the resources required for IT and ensure appropriate partners are selected for business
  • Participates and is involved with operational and strategic team meetings to share IT considerations for the
  • Lead and formulate IT projects of digitization and automation for operations
  • Evaluate and identify the IT risks and controls and delivery of
  • Formulate and set up the IT Policies and Procedures in alignment and compliance with the company\'s governance
  • Manage and coordinate company IT Capex and be responsible for IT

Education and Experience:
  • Degree from Computer Science, Information Technology background or other related Master\'s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 12 years of IT working experience including design & implementation of complex, large scale distributed system and At least 8 years at managerial level.
  • ITIL/ITSM or equivalent globally recognized IT management certification is preferred.
  • Lead and operate APAC level IT projects (office set up, systems migration, cloud/hybrid IT services related), ServiceDesk/Virtual team and Cybersecurity
  • Cloud and Hybrid systems design and implementation experience, with the ability to architect complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, and
  • Holder of professional qualification(s) preferred, g., Cisco, Checkpoint, Microsoft.
  • Solid experience in network infrastructure design and management with Strong Knowledge in Performance Monitoring and Automation
  • Strong problem solving, management and analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, DR Management and Security.
  • Strong knowledge on various vendor products such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo
  • Good Knowledge of end user hardware, software, and operating systems to include configuration and
  • Experience managing cloud PBX voice and video conferencing
  • Demonstrated expertise on Cybersecurity framework and
  • Good knowledge on distribution and enterprise application
  • Knowledge on database administration
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Other Asian languages are an advantage.
