Role Overview:
This position plays a key role in driving inbound and outbound lead generation and client engagement for Alibaba Cloud. You will work closely with sales, operations, marketing, and solution teams to generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQL). The role involves frequent calling, handling rejection, and engaging prospects in challenging discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify high-potential clients and target accounts
Conduct LinkedIn and market research based on guidance from the BDM
Create prospect lists with compelling outreach reasons
Nurture leads and build trusted client relationships
Perform outbound telemarketing for Cloud solutions
Qualify leads and set up meetings (BANT qualified)
Support client & partner events (registration, reminder calls, post-event follow-up)
Maintain and cleanse local client and partner databases
Experience & Traits:
Prior sales experience (SDR experience in IT / Cloud is a plus)
Interest in the technology and cloud computing industry
Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders over the phone
Self-motivated, resilient, and able to build rapport quickly
