ResponsibilitiesReporting to CSOC Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Round-the-clock surveillance of the Company's information assets using various cyber defense tools to monitor internal and external sources
• Identify applications and operating systems of a network device based on network traffic
• Provide timely detection, identification and alerts of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities, and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities
• Use cyber defense tools for continuous monitoring and analysis of system activity to identify malicious activityRequirements Degree or Diploma in IT or Engineering discipline with at least 2 years relevant experience in the information security domain Related IT Security certification preferred Knowledge of common network tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, nslookup) Knowledge of cyber defense policies, procedures, and regulations Knowledge of different types of network communication (e.g., Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Metropolitan Area Network, Wireless Wide Area Network, Wireless local Area Network Knowledge of SIEM and IDS tools and applications Knowledge of front-end collection systems, including network traffic collection, filtering and selection Knowledge of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools, including open source tools, and their capabilities Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies Knowledge of general attack stages (e.g., footprinting and scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks) Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities (e.g., buffer overflow, mobile code, cross-site scripting, procedural and injections, race conditions, covert channel, replay, return-oriented attacks, malicious code, Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) Ability to interpret and incorporate data from multiple tool sources Able to work 12-hours shift but may change according to business needs Team player Goodtime management, analytical and meticulous High regards for confidentiality and integrity of all confidential information
