The organization has an innovative, entrepreneurial culture, which is continuously devising new ways to serve its clients. We are in the process of expanding our Security Services to our clients. We are looking to build a Security Team with the ability to expand our current security vCISO advisory services to our clients as well as to create a Security SOC which can service our clients. We are building a team of professionals that have experience in supporting our client’s needs for security services as well as being able to directly engage with our clients on enhanced security recommendations. The Core Objectives are the following:

• Analyze tools, systems, logs to identify areas of security concerns
• Identify, Report and Control Incidents
• Communicate Continuously

The Security Consultant will be responsible for maintaining the safety of the Organization’s or client's online systems and networks Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct information security management reviews and information security management system (ISMS) assessments
• Perform continual testing on current systems to determine potential problems or security threats.
• Ensure technical implementation and business processes are aligned
• Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance security management systems
• Participate in the creation, review and update of information security policies
• Provide complex technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied
• Suggest and execute IT technologies, strategies and policies to guard customer’s information & assets.
• Provide advice on hacking tools and techniques including advanced malware detection.
• Formulate an IT security incident response strategy and implement a method of notifying parties.
• Prepare reports for internal and external clients detailing the security issues, making recommendations and identifying solutions.
• Provide or assist with implementation documentation
• Keep up to date with the latest thinking on secure coding and cyber-security issues.
• Support the business with a range of compliance requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Three to five years' experience of working on security projects for major organizations is desirable.
• Solid understanding of security assessment and management is required.
• Security design, architecture and implementation is necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations and technology supporting fraud detection.
• Proven ability to audit an IT environment and provide security and process recommendations.
• great teamworking skills knowledge of security technology - e.g. cloud-based security, Identity and Access etc
• Experience in information security management and related functions such as IT Risk Management
• Ability to align information security policies with business requirements
• Network administration skills to test internal systems such as firewalls and IPS/IDS devices to ensure networks are safe.
• Knowledge on Standards related to implementing a risk management framework including COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001/2 and NIST.
• Knowledge on Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.
• Experience on Encryption technologies, ethical hacking and penetration testing.
• Flair for translating information security requirements into IT security controls and measures
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Project management skills and an ability to translate business requirements into technical IT security deliverables
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation is desirable.

• Position Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00PM - 5:00AM PHT (8:00AM to 5:00PM EST)
