Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage IT infrastructure operations across AWS, on-prem, VMware, and hyper-converged platforms, ensuring SLA compliance and customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot complex environments, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Oversee daily IT operations including incidents, service requests, change management, and problem resolution. Drive ITSM process setup, Service Desk operations, and ticketing systems based on ITIL best practices. Develop operational plans (e.g., engineer schedules, maintenance, patching, audits) to support business continuity. Manage capacity, resource allocation, CAPEX/OPEX, vendor renewals, and asset management (CMDB). Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure security controls and address vulnerabilities proactively. Build strong client relationships, conduct service reviews, and provide regular reporting on SLAs, KPIs, and performance. Contribute to project/transition planning in line with Industry 4.0, WOG, and IM8 standards. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in IT, Software, or Engineering. 12+ years of experience in IT service delivery management, including projects, vendors, and stakeholders. ITIL v3 & v4 certification required. Strong technical knowledge in networks, servers, virtualization, cloud, and monitoring tools. Experience with government agencies, IM8 processes, and GCC/WOG environments is a plus. Exposure to OT systems (e.g., facial recognition, access control) preferred. Hands-on, independent, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure. Willing to travel on-site (e.g., Jurong Island). Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills. Able to work effectively in fast-paced, matrix team environments.
