A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Assistant Manager, Parts (Technical Support) like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defence vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities:

Main contact person to the Key Users in the entities to gather requirements or provide feedback on process optimization (continuous improvement) of the current template

Providing vision and direction to the Agile development IT team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements

Responsible for backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories. Experience in Agile / Scrum is a plus

Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

Organize and conduct regular meetings with all key users and stakeholders to discuss and agree on the introduction of new features (template governance)

Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product S/4 HANA Public Cloud (Release Upgrades)

Support of the S/4 Hana Cloud rollout during of template walk through, evaluation and tracking of the Go-live relevant requirements, support of the user acceptance test, key user training and post Golive support.

Qualifications and skills:

Must have direct leadership experience with ERP/ SAP and in large-scale IT transformation, managing offshore, onsite resources and running support organizations

Strong organizational skills

Demonstrated effectiveness developing plans, prioritizing activities & driving execution

Strong analytical skills

Expertise in development and implementation of standards & procedures
