Job Description


- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Leads a team of para-professional through the application of broad knowledge of one job area
- Operational role, responsible for setting objectives and delivering results that have a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area.
- Possesses good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Identifies problems and updates or modifies working methods in own role without the benefit of defined procedures.
- Responsible for designing efficient, effective and scalable IT solutions
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by both internal and/or external stakeholders.

Key Tasks

1. Align solutions with Product Management\'s directions and practices.

2. Analyse the user requirements from product owners and users to provide Functional Requirements Specifications that encompass IT and business innovations that improve the value of the IT Products in scope.

3. Analyse and provide application related Technical Requirements Specifications to development team based on the Functional Requirements, Integration Standards and Product Roadmap.

4. Provide Test Cases to development team.

5. Work with development team (mainly outsourced vendors) to implement the required solutions.

6. Perform internal testing based on agreed test cases and test scope.

7. Manage and maintain the release strategy for the IT Products in scope.

8. Plan and support implementation approach and activities.

9. Provide hyper-care services after each implementation.

10. Deliver enhanced products within agreed timeframe effectively.

Stakeholders

1. Business Product Management - providing advisory, input, and assistance to further develop and/or refine business capability.

2. Group Enterprise Architect - providing advice, input to Business capability-technology matrix and ensuring product is in accordance to the published guiding principles. Ensure conformance to domain model to prevent overlap.

3. Group Information Management - to ensure compliance to regulatory standard. E.g. PDPA, GDPR and so on are adhered to. The other area is to support data-driven strategic direction-making and creating value to business through providing advisory on how we can leverage the organisation\'s data.

4. Infrastructure - to ensure published standard is adhered to.

5. Procurement and Legal - for contract with vendor, covering Terms and Condition, Master Service Agreement etc. to safe-guard organisation interest.

Management Responsibilities

1. IT Solution Analyst will manage and work with a team of analysts/developers (inhouse/outsource) and/or ground level individual contributors

2. Manage vendors/partners as required

Skills

1. Technical Skills:

a. Exposure to Application Development with .Net 4.5 and above, VB.net, ASP.net, C#.net, MVC, WCF, jQuery, Bootstrap, MS SQL 2016 and above, Java and MySQL

b. Exposure to System interfaces methodologies like API (SOAP/ RESTful) and SFTP file transmission.

c. Understanding of various data encryption/decryption methodologies.

d. Expore to AWS technologies (preferred)

2. Able to collaborate, influence and positively challenge relevant key stakeholders who can be from the same/different organisation functions.

3. Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems.

4. Understanding of software engineering concept with regards to SDLC, Agile Development methodology.

5. Knowledge in parcel, postal, 3PL and 4PL/LLP will be advantageous (depending on product).
