Open to relocating candidates from other countries.*Overview:*We are seeking a highly experienced IT Strategy Senior Programme Manager to lead the strategic execution of our Global Technology projects across the middle office teams. This role is pivotal in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing complex project timelines and budgets, compiling comprehensive reports, and analyzing project metrics. Your expertise will ensure efficient development and deployment of innovative technology solutions, driving data-driven decision-making and effective communication across the organization.*Key Responsibilities:**1. Strategic Team Development:*
- Partner with the Technology Head to formulate and refine product strategies, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Oversee business planning and budgeting processes to realize the team\'s strategy.
- Collaborate with the tech and business teams to execute strategic initiatives.
- Champion high-impact strategic initiatives that drive organizational success.*2. Comprehensive Programme Management:*
- Analyze and evaluate project delivery methods, costs, and outcomes to optimize performance.
- Coordinate product activities to ensure alignment with goals, timelines, and strategic business objectives.
- Facilitate stand-ups and prepare engaging presentations through effective stakeholder collaboration, prioritizing risks and issues.
- Summarize product updates, progress, and milestones in a visually compelling format.
- Collaborate with functional and business pillar heads, local business units (LBUs), and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage daily portfolio activities and develop detailed working plans for each project phase.
- Proactively escalate issues that could jeopardize project success.*3. Performance Management Excellence:*
- Define and implement key performance metrics at both product and project levels.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to present metrics in an accessible manner.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough metric analysis.
- Create executive summaries and detailed reports tailored to diverse audience levels.*4. Governance and Reporting Oversight:*
- Administer the preparation and follow-up of the Global Technology Product Committee and other critical governance meetings/reports.
- Develop high-quality presentations using PowerPoint for stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure communication materials align with product goals and strategic objectives.
- Compile and analyze product data to generate regular status reports.*5. Ad Hoc Issue Resolution:*
- Address any urgent Tech and Ops issues as they arise, ensuring swift resolution.*Experience & Qualifications:*- a MUST REQUIREMENT: you MUST be a SENIOR MANAGER or ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR in the IT STRATEGY team of a Tier 1 Management Consulting firm at the moment
- *Experience Level:* A proven track record of 12+ years as a Management Consultant specializing in Technology/Digital Transformation Strategy with leading consulting firms. Experience in the Insurance and Financial Services sectors is highly desirable.
- *Specific Skills:* Expertise in project management with a solid understanding of IT initiatives, including emerging technologies such as AI and Cloud. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- *Knowledge:* Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture and IT/Digital Target Operating Models.
- *Personal Attributes:* Strong leadership capabilities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. High personal integrity with a commitment to confidentiality.
- *Education Level:* Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA preferred) is advantageous.*Technologies & Tools:*
- Proficiency in Demand Planning, Resource Management, and Project Tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
