IT Support Engineer L1 (MST) Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (8.30am - 6pm) & Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm) Working Location: Jalan Bukit Merah (Redhill) Salary: $2,300 - $2,600 Department: Technica IT Support Engineer L1 (MST) Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (8.30am - 6pm) & Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm) Working Location: Jalan Bukit Merah (Redhill) Salary: $2,300 - $2,600 Department: Technical Reporting Manager: Team Lead JOB SUMMARY: You will be responsible for troubleshooting of Desktop & IT related issues and providing post sales Maintenance support services to clients. Responsibilities: To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents involving desktop, which include operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications. To assist all our customers with any logged IT related incident. To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible escalating incidents where necessary. To accurately record, update and document case updates using the IT helpdesk system. To work within the SLA, policies and procedures. To be a highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities. To install and configure new IT equipment. To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware. To resolve incidents with printers, copiers and scanners. To maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner. Maintain excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and our technical and non-technical colleagues (at all levels) Undertaking other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility. Qualifications & Experience: ITE/Diploma in Information Technology from recognized institutes. Experience of working in an IT support role for about 1-2 years. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing. Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques. Ability to plan and prioritize work load without supervision. Ability to prioritize, manage and perform under pressure to meet SLA's. Excellent knowledge of Customer Service best practice. Willing to work flexibly and with enthusiasm. Skills & Attributes: Good interpersonal and communication skills, high adaptability and positive attitude are expected. A team player with determination to drive to excel. Excellent customer service skills. Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
