COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is NYSE listed industrial technology firm which prides themselves as an employee centric work environment and progressively adapting toward Industry 4.0 needs. Due to changes in business dynamic, our client is currently looking to employ an IT Infrastructure Specialist to oversee IT functions in Singapore. You will report to an IT Manager based out of Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide full onsite/desk side and remote support to end users for all their IT issues, service/change requests
• Image, deploy, upgrade and refresh PCs and manage IT assets.
• Administrate and solve incidents assigned to the local on-site support.
• Participate in local and global projects.
• Provide hands on support to our specialist team with server, network, telephony infrastructure.
• Advise users on their IT needs and best practices.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local business and end users.
• Continuous development and improvement of On-Site Support service delivery.
• Continuous focus on customer satisfaction, compliance and standards.
• Work with the Service Desk, Application Managers, IT Managers and other stakeholders using the ITIL methodology for IT Service Management.
• Team up with your peers at other locations in case of cross functional support is required.
• Procurement of PC and IT hardware
• Liaising with vendors for quotes and placing orders
• Procurement and management of mobile handsets including repairs and services
• Maintain asset registers for all IT assets
• Maintain local Hub page for IT Services
• Provide IT inductions for new users on a monthly basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent;
• More than 3 years of relevant experience as a System/Azure Engineer
• Preferably with PMP or PRINCE2 certification;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, SQL database, Hyper V planning, deployment, and support;
• Microsoft Azure Administrator certification is mandatory;
• Microsoft Azure Architect Design/Technology certification is preferred;
• Familiar with backup tools like Veeam, Commvault, Azure Backup is preferred
• Candidate must be comfortable to be based in West of Singapore.
