Respond to and consolidate information on the Level 1 support requested by end users within an appropriate timeframe
Assist in resolving and answering requests using standard procedures and knowledge and/or escalate to Senior IT Support Executive / CD IT when necessary
Support the implementation of ticketing system for Level 1 support
Maintain and ensure tickets are categorized correctly after ticketing system implementation
Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
Asset and Inventory Management
Maintain and update inventory of necessary IT hardware and equipment including computers, monitors, printers, CCTV, modems etc.
Assist with the provisioning and deprovisioning of equipment to users
Liaise with equipment vendor for purchases, warranty and servicing
To upkeep and maintenance the tidiness of the IT storeroom with a systematic requisition process flow
IT Infrastructure Support and Maintenance
Support with the physical setup and installation/replacement of network equipment within the workspaces
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Perform system administration tasks (software installation, configuration, software patching, etc).
Access Rights & People Directory
Maintain and update people directory to ensure the most accuracy of the people data
Support registration and deregister of users from all relevant systems according to checklist (e.g. email, printer ID, user account, people directory, etc)
