To be the IT Technician on the site, this can vary from high level and experienced at a large site and possibly lower level / junior at a small site. The services provided by Site IT Technicians cover renewal and problem solving of PC's, laptops, servers, Microsoft Office and E-mail and all related activity to support the Local IT systems to a high level of user service and satisfaction.
Local communication with all users for call reception and call logging in central Helpdesk tool, keep the customer informed about progress and expectation
Resolve problems with PC software and hardware, according to Group IT policies & standards; root cause analysis is important; active knowledge sharing to avoid reinvention
Support the network and local systems for process automation, payroll, time & attendance, and local databases in support of local processes such as safety incident registration, local audit/ISO needs, holiday registration, complaints processes, etc.
Work with Site Support Team Leader on site projects which could vary from local infrastructure or system upgrades (e.g. manufacturing system) to Group IT driven changes to core services like e-mail.
Requirement:
3-5 years’ experience of technical IT Support (level 2)
Good end user support, manage firewall set up, CCTV, and server experience is a MUST
Familiar with ITIL v3 & certified in ITIL foundations.
Strong Communication skills
