Job Description

Middleton International School (part of EtonHouse) in Singapore is looking for a Principal for their West Coast campus.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Board of Directors (BOD), the Principal will lead the academic and non- academic team in the execution of professional duties and responsibilities to meet the academic, operational and financial targets of the school.

The school\'s academic year starts in January and runs through to December.

Interested applicants should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
\xe2\x96\xaa A Master\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Education.
\xe2\x96\xaa 5 years of leadership experience in an International School.
\xe2\x96\xaa 8 to 10 years of teaching experience in an International School working with primary and secondary children.
\xe2\x96\xaa Training and experience in International Primary Curriculum (IPC), International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC), Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A-Levels is essential.
\xe2\x96\xaa A leader who regard the child as the first and singularly most important consideration.
\xe2\x96\xaa A resilient leader with the ability to navigate through ambiguity.
\xe2\x96\xaa A self-starter who is able to think on your feet and work under pressure.
\xe2\x96\xaa A people leader with the charisma to motivate and inspire your team.
\xe2\x96\xaa Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\xe2\x96\xaa International experience, especially in Asia, is highly valued.

Contracts are for 2 or 3 years and a competitive package that includes salary (SGD84-108k per annum) & housing allowance, annual bonus, flights, medical insurance and tuition for staff children is included.

The school is one of two Middleton campuses, with one located in the west and one in the east of Singapore. All are in desirable residential areas. Singapore is highly urbanised and westernised making it a very easy country to move to. With extensive shopping, night-life, culture and travel opportunities, all in all, Singapore is a perfect place to live and work.
