We are currently looking for interns who are available from Jan to Jun 2023.

Project title: Orders-To-Pay (O2P) Project (Extension & Maintenance Support) & ALPS Pyramid (Data Analytics)

Interns will get to work on the following task:

ALPS O2P Automation:

• Support ALPS CIO Office team in understanding and mapping business requirements.
• Participate in design sessions and update project documentation (as assigned).
• Implement system frameworks and designs with program codes (Python, Visual Basic for Applications).
• Understand and generate system interface file formats based on Interface Specifications as provided.
• Develop, test and deploy new enhancements for O2P program for various stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues within stipulated response timeframe.
• Assist in software release preparation, notification, installation/patching.
• Engage end-users to identify areas of improvement for O2P.
• Support requirement gathering, design, development, testing and delivery of new O2P-related initiatives from time-to-time.

ALPS Pyramid - Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI):

• Support ALPS CIO Office Data Analytics/BI SME in Dashboard requirement understanding & design.
• Configure Informatica / write Python scripts/classes to transform source data to Microsoft SQL Server for dashboard consumption.
• Raise Service Request for UAT and Production deployments.
• Assist in Tableau Workbook packaging for Production Deployment.
• The intern will be optionally empowered to write SQL queries for data extraction.

Through this internship, interns will get to develop the following skill set:

Programming: Python, Visual Basic for Application (VBA), SQL, Windows Scripting
Software Release & Control (version control using Git, team development in JetBrain PyCharm)
Data Analytics/Visualization: Tableau, SQL, Informatica
Problem solving/troubleshooting
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management
Communication & soft skills
End-user/Stakeholder management

Requirements:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics or related discipline
• Be graduating in May/December 2024
• Basic hands-on programming knowledge in any language required (preferably Python 3.9+, .NET languages, SQL)
• Knowledge in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Informatica is desired
• Keen interest in Data Visualization
• Familiar with Windows 10 Operation System & Microsoft Productivity apps (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willing to learn, pro-active, "can-do" attitude
• Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
• Passionate about IHiS and keen to make a difference and reimagine the future of HealthTech
