The intern will be involve in the development and implementation of Central Warehouse systems for order fulfillment to last mile delivery, including automation. The objective is to allow him/her an understanding of supply chain applications and acquire project management experience.

Details of projects the intern will be involved in:

ALPS Automation Initiative (O2P):

- Support ALPS CIO Office team in understanding and mapping business requirements.
- Participate in design sessions and update project documentation (as assigned).
- Implement system frameworks and designs with program codes (Python).
- Understand and generate system interface file formats based on Interface Specifications.
- Develop, test and deploy new enhancements for O2P program for various stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and fix production issues within stipulated response timeframe.
- Assist in software release preparation, notification, installation/patching.
- Engage end-users to identify areas of improvement for O2P.
- Support requirement gathering, design, development, testing and delivery of new initiatives.

ALPS Pyramid - Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI):

- Support ALPS CIO Office Data Analytics/BI SME in Dashboard requirement understanding & design.
- Configure Informatica / write Python scripts/classes to transform source data to Microsoft SQL Server.
- Raise Service Request for UAT and Production deployments.
- Assist in Tableau Workbook packaging for Production Deployment.
- The intern will be optionally empowered to write SQL queries for data extraction.

Requirements:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Be graduating in May/December 2024 or May 2025
• Basic hands-on programming knowledge in any language required (preferably Python 3.9+, .NET languages, SQL)
• Knowledge in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Informatica is desired
• Keen interest in Data Visualization & Analytics
• Familiar with Windows 10/11 Operation Systems & Microsoft Productivity apps (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willing to learn, pro-active, \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
• Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
• Passionate about IHiS and keen to make a difference and re-imagine the future of HealthTech
