Job Description


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Open to give equity to come in as partner
  • At Least 5 Years' experience as a Yakitori Chef with:
  • In depth knowledge of Japanese Yakitori Cuisine
  • Good understanding of General Japanese Cuisine
  • Established experience in managing and operating a Yakitori restaurant
  • Highly skilled in Yakitori preparations and grilling
  • Capable of designing and creating new and innovative Yakitori dishes and accompaniments.
  • Able to advise, select and pair all Japanese alcohol with prepared food.
  • Able to maintain high restaurant standards in line with top Yakitori restaurants in Japan
  • Capable of independently preparing and cooking restaurant quality Yakitori dishes and accompaniments.
  • Able to supervise kitchen, food and drink produce inventory including costing.
  • Produce food and drinks menu in English and Japanese
  • Able to conduct negotiations with suppliers.
  • Able to supervise , train and motivate staffs
  • Certified at the highest level under the Food & Beverage Specialists organisation, Japan or its equivalent
  • Must have complete knowledge of Food/ Beverage/ Food Preparation/ Professional Customer Service Standards
  • Able to provide improvements on restaurant workflow
