With a global presence in over 20 countries, and backed with an award-winning research team, the Company is well-positioned as Asia's leading financial gateway, providing well researched and in-depth analysis of financial products.As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, solutioning and management of Java-based applications.You will be part of a dynamic IT Development Team to develop new systems and enhance financial backend applications for our fast-growing businesses in the region.Job ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible for:

• Analyze defects, enhance, fine tune and maintain existing applications.
• Work closely with Application Management team to for solutioning and new initiatives.
• Incident troubleshooting and perform hotfixes when on the needful basis.
• Organize and manage the production release.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

Job RequirementsTo thrive and be successful in this role, you must have/be:

• Degree or Diploma in Computing Science/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-5 years relevant software development work experience
• Experience in core Java development, J2EE, Java Messaging Service, Web Services, Spring, APIs, Apache, SQL and XML
• Knowledge on Python and AWS is a plus
• Knowledge on web technology is a must
• Unix and/or Linux experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work as a team-player as well as an independent performer, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 monthsSalary: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per monthBenefits:
