About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Java Developer / Backend Engineer

to join our technology team and contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and resilient backend solutions. You will play a pivotal role in designing microservices, modernizing legacy systems, and building mission-critical applications for government and financial services environments.

This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, solution-focused, and thrive in environments where security, stability, and performance are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework Design and implement REST APIs and microservices aligned to enterprise and cloud standards Build robust data integrations using Hibernate/JPA and SQL databases Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS advantage) Participate and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps) Implement secure authentication and authorization, including OAuth2, OIDC, and Active Directory / ForgeRock Work with messaging and integration frameworks such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Apache Camel Support enterprise migration efforts (Tibco experience beneficial) Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering governance and best practices

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of professional backend development experience Strong competency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework Experienced with RESTful API design and microservices architecture Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployments (AWS preferred) Strong understanding of IAM, API security, authentication standards Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other enterprise messaging tools

Preferred / Advantage

Government or banking/fintech delivery experience Legacy modernization, enterprise integration, Tibco migration Performance tuning, distributed systems, cloud-native patterns
