Job Description


The Asia Trade Distribution team sits within the Trade & Working Capital Portfolio Management Group and is responsible for managing the Trade Products exposures and supporting the wider Trade & Working Capital team to deliver value-added solutions to our clients. The individual will be part of a team that is the primary point of contact between JPMorgan and the desks of banks and other institutions that buy and sell Trade Finance transactions. The individual will also act as a guiding point of reference for Trade Sales and other internal stakeholders in relation to pricing and structure as it pertains to the marketability of transactions. Responsibilities :


  • Position reports to Asia Head of Trade Distribution
  • Distribute structured trade transactions of Corporate obligors to secondary market investors
  • Maintain and develop Trade secondary market investors in Asia
  • Probe industry sources to track trends and competitor activities.
  • Active engagement with distribution partners and share market feedback on secondary market activities in Asia
  • Provide feedback on distribution availability to Sales and other Asia Trade team members when appropriate
  • Actively involved with other Asia Trade team-members to crystallize structured sell-down, tailored-made to the financing needs of a client, the local market financial condition, as well as the regulatory requirement
  • Responsible for Trade Distribution standard documentations and other trade-related documents including assignment agreements, participation agreements, syndicated credit agreements with specific focus on transfer mechanics
  • Purchase participation in trade related transactions from the secondary market
Skills/Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • 5+ years experience in the distribution of structured trade transactions involving corporate risks
  • Extensive knowledge in structured trade products, including Supply Chain Finance, Receivable Finance, and Sales & Inventory Finance
  • Good knowledge of credit quality of Asian Corporates, FI and sovereigns
  • Good knowledge of Legal aspects of participation agreements
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation, communication, writing and client skills
  • Aptitude for presenting, client interface, sales & marketing
  • Strong influencing/ interpersonal skills
