Job Description

The accountant is responsible for a wide variety of finance-related tasks that are primarily associated with supporting financial operations and preparing financial records. These tasks oftentimes include handling of journals prepared by AAs, providing coverage for AAs, computing taxes and preparing tax returns, organizing and maintaining financial records, and ensuring statements are accurate. Role & Responsibility: \xc2\xb7 Manage full sets of accounts for the Group of companies \xc2\xb7 Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports \xc2\xb7 Perform month end closing activities, such as preparation of audit schedules and bank reconciliation \xc2\xb7 Support annual budget and quarterly forecast \xc2\xb7 Perform costing and variance analysis \xc2\xb7 Prepare Cashflow statement \xc2\xb7 Prepare corporate tax computation \xc2\xb7 Prepare quarterly GST submission \xc2\xb7 Provide support to external and internal audit matters \xc2\xb7 Oversee debt collection and credit control \xc2\xb7 Provide coverage duties whenever needed Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy/Finance or above. CA / CPA / ACCA will be an added advantage \xc2\xb7 Have a sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (\xe2\x80\x9cSFRS\xe2\x80\x9d) and International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") \xc2\xb7 At least 2 years of relevant working experience \xc2\xb7 Meticulous and has eye for details \xc2\xb7 Knowledge in MYOB and Xero system will be a plus \xc2\xb7Proficient in Microsoft Office Job Type: Full-time Salary: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month Schedule:
