We are now looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant (f/m/d) to join and support the growth of our accounting team (Temporary position 6 months with option of 12 month extension).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior team members and be part of a growing company that values and rewards hard work, creativity, and initiative. Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of the company\'s financial records, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts,
• Participate in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts
• Support senior team members with financial analysis and reconciliations.

Your profile

• You have an academic degree in Accounting or a comparable education/qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent); or a student working on degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping
• You have first experience with accounting software and ERP tools (DATEV and Workday would be an advantage)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• You have a good track record of working collaboratively and successfully in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment, bonus if you have worked in fast-paced/scaling organizations or Start-ups before
• Knowledge of German Local GAAP and German Taxation is an advantage.
• You are fluent in English
