Reporting to the Head Pastry Chef and responsible for daily operations and oversees the preparation of pastry items while maintaining costs and ensuring consistency quality of pastry products.
Ensures proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with standards and sanitation/health regulations.
Create new and exciting range of bakery items to refresh our menu selection/ according to festive periods and occasions
Maintain proper ordering of ingredients such as flour, sugar, improver etc. and ensure first-in-first out (FIFO) method is utilized
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar F&B field background is preferred but not necessary.
Having good knowledge in Pastry and holding a Certificate in Pastry & Bakery or equivalent are preferred.
Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
