Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head Pastry Chef and responsible for daily operations and oversees the preparation of pastry items while maintaining costs and ensuring consistency quality of pastry products.
- Ensures proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with standards and sanitation/health regulations.
- Create new and exciting range of bakery items to refresh our menu selection/ according to festive periods and occasions
- Maintain proper ordering of ingredients such as flour, sugar, improver etc. and ensure first-in-first out (FIFO) method is utilized
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar F&B field background is preferred but not necessary.
- Having good knowledge in Pastry and holding a Certificate in Pastry & Bakery or equivalent are preferred.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
