Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering/Life Sciences
Preferably at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience
Experience working in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Proficient both in oral and written communication (English).
Preferred experience:
Experience with in vitro cell culture
Able to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on research data and findings
Ability to follow protocols, batch records and provide technical input
Able to design, organize, and coordinate scientific and/or engineering research projects.
Experience working in a GMP compliant facility
Key Responsibilities:
Execute basic plant operations and specific activities as required during production runs
Carry out plant setup activities (incl. cleaning, configuration and equipment dismantling) along with basic troubleshooting for plant issues
Monitor and analyse processing parameters for atypical trends and initiate resolution of issues related to daily operations
Actively support transfer of new processes, commissioning/validation of equipment, basic housekeeping and audits
Key role in operation of mid-scale bioreactor systems for suspension/adherent cell culture at technology transfer facility
Responsible for completing tasks which may be preparation of equipment, cleaning, sterilization, preparation of solutions, monitoring, acquiring raw materials etc
Be part of the scale up team by coordinating with process development and food technology team
Support continuous process improvement
Update SOPs and other manufacturing documents
Follow health and safety procedures and implement paperwork as required

Compensation:
The position is full-time and the candidate will be compensated similar to industry standards.
Manufacturing Shift Supervisor Requirements • Execute plant-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the global vision • Direct and oversee production and their roles and responsibilities throughout the shift • Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment • Collaborate directly with departments to optimize schedule accomplishment • Collaborate with HR/Site Director to ensure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved • Develop, participate, and lead process improvement projects (LEAN/Six Sigma) • Develop and execute plans on a weekly and monthly basis to achieve cost efficient and accurate processes • Utilize technical skills and relevant experience to identify/solve problems and recommends/implements operating efficiencies • Ensure all plant operations and business is conducted in a safe and controlled environment • Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications • Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum 7 years’ experience in food/ beverage manufacturing environment or related environment of which 2-year manufacturing supervision experience. • Basic knowledge on Microsoft office such as Words and Excel is preferred. • Knowledge of D365, ERP, TetraPak SCADA/HMI system is preferred • Basic HACCP knowledge is required. • A good team player with problem solving skills and enjoys a dynamic working environment. • This role is on 24x7, 12 hrs rotating shift. • To be based in Senoko
