We are currently based at Metropolis, Buona Vista, Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • To support Business Partner (BP) team to achieve its People strategy goals based on Business/Company objectives.
  • To act as the main HR contact point and liaison for assigned Projects.
  • To play a supporting role to help identify Manpower needs across Departments and Projects to facilitate workforce planning and external/internal recruitment.
  • To coordinate and participate in annual Performance calibration meetings.
  • To advise Heads Of Departments (HODs) on disciplinary actions against employees with issues and engage with identified employee.
  • To help identify and support BPs on employee engagement initiatives and communications in corporate and projects.
  • To build strong relationships with the business leaders, line managers, and employees, as guided by BP Lead.
  • To manage employee queries on People-related topics and funnels queries to the corresponding HR functions viz. People Services, L&D.
  • To engage HODs and employees to discuss renewals/termination of Fixed-Term Contractors (at least 2-3 months before contract expiry); and trigger employee data updates to People Services.
  • To collate and filter feedbacks from employees regarding HR processes and systems, and share with relevant Center Of Expertise (COEs).
  • To learn and over time, independently review salary proposals of direct hires and contractors submitted from Talent Acquisition (TA) and Contractor Management (CM) before approval submission to ELTs (as required).
  • To provide support to People Business Partner Lead, BP Team and/or Head of People Dept. on ad-hoc projects, as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Min. Diploma in Human Resources Management/Business Administration with hands-on HR experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of related industry experience, preferably from MNC environment.
  • IHRP or relevant HR certification will be an added advantage.
  • Must be familiar with local employment regulations and/or Statutory requirements.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Familiar with Prosoft or other MasterData/payroll system.
  • Office 365, other relevant office software skills.
