The Role

You will be responsible for continuously delighting and exciting the LB community, through thoughtful assortment selection and high accuracy of buys with the delicate balance of hard data, consumer insights and commercial instinct.

Reporting directly to the Senior Buying & Merchandising Manager, International, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Love, Bonito through this exhilarating phase.

Three primary focuses:
  • Be the assortment specialist for your market
  • Merchandise management and allocation to achieve desired sales, inventory turn and sell through objectives
  • Elevation of the brand through the alignment with cross functional teams to achieve the right product in the right place at the right time
Main Responsibilities

Buying
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Commercial and Design team to ensure commercial elements are well considered during collection development process
  • Participate in buying sessions and execute buys for channels with both a qualitative and data driven approach
  • Manage OTB for the portfolio assigned ensuring spend is within assigned budget
  • Execute monthly replenishments to ensure healthy inventory cover
  • Research and monitor industry trends and consumer behaviour to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns
Merchandising
  • Monitor and analyse sales to identify wins and slow movers with prompt action(s) taken to optimise sales for your channel-portfolio
  • Detailed reporting of performance at a channel-portfolio-product level with recommendations of next steps from insights gathered (in season or post season analysis)
  • Drive full price sell through and profitability by managing in season processes such as transfers and consolidations
  • Work with Planner to highlight opportunities and risks observed during the season
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure your high investment products are given sufficient exposure
  • Initiate promotional, tactical and thematic campaigns
Main KPIs:
  • Net revenue and sell-through rate
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Fashion or Business related disciplines
  • 2+ years of experience in merchandising or buying functions in apparel; omni channel management experience is highly preferred
