Junior Data Analyst / Developer

to support a

government agency

Depot Road, Singapore

This is a

12-month contract (renewable)

under NTT Data payroll.

Join a large-scale government IT project and gain hands-on experience in process governance and system documentation. You'll assist in managing approval workflows, updating IT system records, and supporting audit/compliance reviews.

About the Role

We are looking for a

Junior Data Analyst / Developer

to support a key government project at

Depot Road

.





You will assist with data management, dashboard development, and automation work using modern analytics tools.





This position is suitable for

recent graduates with prior internship experience

in data analytics or software development who are passionate about using data to drive insights.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and validate datasets to support reporting and analytics. Design and build interactive dashboards and visualisations using Power BI / Tableau / QuickSight. Develop Python and SQL scripts to automate ETL processes and data pipelines. Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into data models and metrics. Maintain documentation, process workflows, and data dictionaries. Support data quality checks, UAT, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics.

Internship

completed in Data Analytics, Software Development, or a related IT discipline. Proficiency in

Python (Pandas, NumPy)

and

SQL

. Experience creating dashboards with

Power BI / Tableau / QuickSight

. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and understanding of data-modelling concepts. Familiarity with software-development tools (Docker, Git, API integration) is an advantage. Good analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
