Junior Industrialization Chemist, Delivery Systems - Your future position?

Location: Pioneer, Singapore

Reporting to: Industrialization Chemist

In the first 12 months of your role as a Junior Industrialization Chemist, you will participate on-the-terrain training, get involved in hands-on lab experiments and pilot plant level synthesis to elevate practical skills. Soon after that, you will gradually assume increased management-related responsibilities, which includes - stakeholder management, project coordination, and team collaboration.

Main Responsibilities

Process Industrialization & Pilot Management

Guide the industrialization and piloting of diverse processes for the production of novel products

Orchestrate the entire lifecycle from research and development to market launch

Powder Drying Optimization

Apply expertise in optimizing powder drying techniques through atomization - in order to contribute to enhanced efficiency and product quality

Experimental Design & Resource Optimization

Design meticulously planned experimental strategies, ensuring optimal resource utilization and desired output

Advanced Processing Tools Implementation

Advocate for and integrate new processing tools, establishing the DS lab as a pinnacle of encapsulation technology

Data Analysis & Reporting

Interpret scientific data, succinctly summarizing essential findings with a profound level of technical comprehension

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Participate in continuous improvement programs such as 5S and Management of Change (MOC)

Problem Resolution and Operational Efficiency

Take proactive measures to address operational challenges, mitigating potential delays in projects or production.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with both internal teams (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Science & Technology) and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.

Professional Requirements

• Minimum of a Master\'s Degree (MSc) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or closely related field.

0~4 years of hands-on experience in the FMCG or relevant industry

Proficiency in fragrance encapsulation methods, complemented by a strong grasp of chemical engineering principles, would be a plus
