Job Description

We are looking for a Junior IT Infra System Engineer with to produce detailed design and Integrate IT system within the Railway domain.

Responsibilities

Support in designing IT System hardware: Racks, Servers (Memory, CPU,...) , Storage, Workstations, Access Switches,

Support in IT integration of sub-systems

Support in defining and configuring IT System software: OS, VM, COTS, IP parameters, apply hardening procedures

Support in proposing and implementing integration, verification and validation (IVV) scenarios

Participate in biddings and projects and will be in charge of the good operations of the Reference and Integration platforms.

Assist in providing associated documentation

Key Skills and Experience

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline (essential)

Systems engineering basics knowledge

Preferably 1 year of experience in an IT Engineering role, open to fresh graduates too

Knowledge and interest in:

? IT Infrastructure Design and Implementation

? Data Centre Design and Implementation,

? Disaster recovery design and implementation, such as Arcserve,

? High Availability Systems,

? Virtualization (VMware, VSAN,...),

? Kubernetes,

? Storage Systems,

? Hardening procedures,

? Firewall policy implementation,

? L3 and L2 switches configuration and troubleshooting,

? System configuration & troubleshooting, and

? Load, Performance and Integration testing.

Knowledge on different communication protocols at Network and Application level i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, LDAP, SNTP, etc.

Knowledge and experience working with Linux and Windows

Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle

Experience in thermal simulation

Experience in EMC/EMI

Open to night shifts and working on railway projects

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $3,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
