Our client is an established Energy & Power company, headquartered in Singapore. With the positive energy market outlook in 2023, they are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join their robust regional legal team.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will support the business in facilitating legal services and advice to ensure commercial objectives are met whilst mitigating risks. This includes drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal agreements, participating in negotiations, leading corporate transactions, i.e. M&A and financing of projects and other advisory matters. You will also assist on corporate governance work and litigation matters, if any.
Qualifications
You are a Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 2 years PQE practicing as a corporate and commercial lawyer. Prior in-house experience will be highly regarded. Meticulous, adaptable with an eagerness to learn, you are able to pick up new skillsets and knowledge to excel in this role. You have excellent communication skills and confidence to partner with regional stakeholders across levels.
