Junior Lng Broker
Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual for the position of Junior Broker working closely with our other offices globally as well as our clients in the LNG industry. After an initial phasing in, the Junior Broker will be expected to assist brokers in servicing existing clients which will involve direct client interaction and deal making as well as expanding and building new client relationships within the LNG industry, primary in the Pacific region.
Qualifications & Key Skills
The successful candidate will have most or all of the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years broking or equivalent relevant experience from an LNG Shipowner or charterer.
- University degree with a track record of commitment and delivering results.
- Team-player, capable of interacting easily, comfortably and respectfully with clients and colleagues, from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.
- Selfstarter and proactive with a healthy portion of curiosity and drive.
- Strong business acumen and a commercial aptitude
- Ability to speak/write English fluently is critical but other languages such as Mandarin, Korean or Japanese is an advantage. Good Microsoft Office skills.
