We are excited to welcome a new Local Supply Chain Planner, Raw Materials!The role is based in our Singapore Chin Bee plant. Your role is primarily responsible for ensuring a timely supply of materials to the local plant for uninterrupted production processing. You will be the main point of contact at the Scent compounding plant to translate the demands, requirements and special needs and the executor of planning activities which cannot be undertaken by a centralized team.HOW YOU WILL LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE:

• Call off of bulk materials and coordinate the receipt of bulk materials from a staging area.

• Mitigate any raw material shortages as a result of an unexpected inventory write-off or internal rejection in close coordination with the GSCP.

a) In case of Quality Issues: communicate to QC to indicate the solution to solve the blocked stock, i.e. discard, return to use, or use as BU or up to a certain level. Keep GSC Planner about this decision.b) In case of return to vendor, coordinate the execution of return with Warehouse and Outbound department.

• In case of inventory discrepancies, get the information from Finished Goods Planning/Production/WHS and communicate GSC Planner properly. Inform if an extra purchase is needed. If cannot wait for GSC Planner action (time zone) proceed with an extra purchase or deal with FG Planner to reschedule out specific POs/PRs.

• Coordination and follow-up of POCO execution. POCO is an exercise to clean up the destroyed materials by creating a one-time compounding & selling to a specific customer.

• Coordinating and following up with the Inbound Material Coordinator for original paperwork and incoming shipments.

• Be the owner of the physical part of the pre-shipment samples process: pass the sample to WHC for goods receiving, and pass the sample to QC for testing, follow up the results together with GSCP.

• Be responsible for ensuring E&Rs execution at the production floor and warehouse: material movement, labelling properly, and request for DMA updates.

• Communicate to GSCP any possible relevant FG rejection which impacts RM availability and triggers extra RM purchases.

• Collaborate with global supply chain planner and global procurement in finding local vendors in case of unexpected supply issues.

• Act as a conduit between the commercial organization, Customer Service and the Global Master Planner/GSCP for all market-relevant information (New Wins, Demand increases, Business Lost, Must Win Projects).

• Take part in meetings (Production, QC, Global Procurement, Plant Manager, and Customer Service) and translate to the Global Supply Chain Planner which is relevant to meet plant expectations.

• Act on Late Order Reason (LOR) Rapport.

• Continues looking for improvements in processes and flow which results in benefits for Supply Chain and for Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Bachelor degree in logistics, supply management, operations management, or related field and at least 5 years of operational planning or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent computer skills, including strong knowledge of SAP systems.

• Ability to work cross-functionality.

• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.

• Problem-solving skills.

• Team player approach to work and demonstrates ability to work under pressure.
