GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Portfolio Implementation Analyst is a member of Asia Investment Management Portfolio Implementation Team (\xe2\x80\x9cAIM Implementation Team\xe2\x80\x9d). The main responsibilities of this role include Client Discretionary Portfolio Management (\xe2\x80\x9cDPM\xe2\x80\x9d) Portfolios Rebalancing against the Investment Model and Securities Order Generation as instructed by the Portfolio Managers (\xe2\x80\x9cPMs\xe2\x80\x9d), Daily Cash Management, FX Order Generation as well as assisting the PMs and/or AIM Implementation Asset Class Leads with periodic Risk Control reporting, regulatory survey or questionnaires, supporting internal policy consultation process and ensuring the workflow documents are up-to-date.

The candidate is expected to work closely with multiple points of contacts such as Portfolio Management, Dealing Desk, Business Management, Investment Risk Control, Compliance and Operations teams. He/she should be familiar with operational aspect of various asset classes, have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Client Management (internal & external)

• Strong inter-personal skill \xe2\x80\x93 ability to interact effectively with internal clients such as Portfolio Managers as well as colleagues from various business units

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Order generation, cash management and handling of queries pertaining to the Client portfolios\xe2\x80\x99 adherence with the product-specific guidelines and the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s in-house investment policies
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Possess a keen sense of ownership \xe2\x80\x93 ability to see assigned tasks to completion with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to details and organisational skills
• Flexible and adaptable

Professional and Technical

• Relevant higher educational and professional background with 1-3 years of relevant working experience
• Recent graduates with sound academic background in Finance and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply
• CFA qualification is an advantage
• CACS Paper 1 and 2
• CMFAS Module 3, Module 6
• Good understanding of financial market, financial products and industry landscape
• Familiarity with trade-life-cycle, ability to resolve complex trade flow issues through an in-depth evaluation of procedure with various back-office teams are preferred
• Familiar with financial software e.g. Bloomberg
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Macro and coding experience is a plus

Regulatory

• MAS RNF registered representatives to perform the regulated activities in Fund Management
• Familiar with regulatory expectations and requirements
