We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in the contract furnishing sector, specializing in luxury hospitality and resort projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious international hotel developments, providing support in cost estimation, tendering, and project execution for curtains, blinds, upholstery, and soft furnishings.

Key Responsibilities


Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for soft furnishing packages Conduct quantity take-offs and material measurements from drawings and BOQs Support the tendering process including pricing, documentation, and supplier coordination Liaise with mills, suppliers, and subcontractors for price sourcing and lead time verification Help prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts Maintain and update costing records and materials database Assist project team in budgeting and cost tracking during project execution Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all commercial aspects of projects


Requirements


Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field 0-2 years of experience in QS or cost-related roles (internships included) Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic quantity take-off software Good communication and organizational skills Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced project environment Prior experience or interest in interior or soft furnishing works is an advantage
