Informa Global Markets (IGM) is seeking a Junior Rates Market Analyst to join our Asia-Pacific Rates desk in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our real-time market analysis and commentary across fixed income, FX, and related markets.
WHO WE ARE
The Asia-Pac Rates desk of IGM provides on-the-spot research, commentary, and analysis of fixed income, FX, equities, major commodity markets, and notable economic events in Asian hours, with a focus on major regional economies such as China, Japan, and Australia.
We have analysts spanning Singapore, Tokyo, and Shanghai, although this opening is Singapore-based.
WHAT WE DO
On a regular basis, we write on market moves across specific assets (mainly government/corporate bonds and FX), while also assembling previews and reviews of events such as major data releases, government announcements, political developments, central bank announcements, government bond auctions, and ratings actions.
On a more ad-hoc basis, we write on matters relevant to the macro outlook such as derivative flows across fixed income and FX markets, noteworthy and relevant alternative data, and political/international developments.
Our writing is published directly to clients through the Bloomberg Terminal, email alerts, and our own online platform, with a preference for shorter, more digestible pieces. Our clients range from trading desks to various types of funds, although the emphasis remains the same succinct, punchy writing where possible.
