THE ROLE

Trade & Market Analysis
Learn and understand market trends and key leading indicators and become proficient in understanding complex market dynamics.
Formulate and articulate thoughts and insights on the market.
Develop skills to make buying and selling decisions through market research
Ensure customers stay within counterparty limits.
Learn and understand risk management tools. Logistics/Execution
Assist and/or lead execution of logistics planning and strategy. Includes fundamental knowledge of container execution and commodity arbitrage.
Knowledge of systems and procedures that document and support execution. Customer Relationship Building
Develop and maintain extensive and varied business relationships in the marketplace.
With the support of their manager, start to build effective, ongoing interactions with both current and potential customers.
Build trading rapport with producers and end users.
Contract management, including reconciling balances with customers.
Be responsible for capturing supply.
Interact with customers, express ideas, and formulate and share opinions.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 Degree with 1-2 years of trading / marketing / merchandising experience
Experience in soybean meal / corn gluten meal / dried distiller grain soluble will be an added advantage
Fresh graduates / junior candidates with strong interest in commodities trading can be considered
Demonstrated understanding of commodity markets and flows.
Knowledge of commodity trade rules and norms.
Demonstrated aptitude in accounting and financial practices and procedures
