The Opportunity:

• 3-years permanent renewable contract
• Min 10 years of working experience in healthcare and biomedical sciences or related fields
• A passion and curiosity of science and technology, structuring R&D and clinical collaboration projects and negotiation

Adecco is partnering with a globally renowned scientific research and talent institute in the search for a Deputy Director. In this role, you will be overseeing 2 teams to drive and support several national level initiatives in the Research, Innovation and Enterprise domain. Your will be working closely with a spectrum of companies, including multinational pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, diagnostics, digital health firms, and local enterprises, architecting and managing collaborations across various stages, from early discovery to manufacturing R&D.

The Job:

• Oversee strategic initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and driving growth within key accounts.
• Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership
• Driving business development efforts to propel advancements in biomedical science and technology.
• Leading sectoral industry development strategies and key company account management
• Shaping R&D and clinical research project proposals
• Building networks with public sector agencies and industry partners, and spearheading national-level initiatives in the biomedical sciences domain

The Talent:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare and biomedical sciences or related fields, with a background in research, clinical trials, product development, technology commercialization, strategy, and/or business development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a passion for science and technology, strategic thinking, and experience in multi-party engagement and management.
