  • To promote and market Abbott\xe2\x80\x99s products to the Private GP Group practices to maintain constant business growth and profitability in an ethical manner complying with all local relevant laws and Abbott\xe2\x80\x99s code of business conduct.
Core Job ResponsibilitiesTerritory Sales Achievement
  • Ensure optimal execution of plans of action (POA), field tactics program and territory plans.
  • Regularly review achievement of sales against targets and initiate appropriate actions to ensure performance is in line with objectives.
  • Drive profitability in the GP Group practice segment with understanding of market and policy changes in the external environment.
  • Ensure enlistment of new product launches in Group Practice
  • Delivers on expectations, hold self-accountable for results.
Territory Management & Business Planning
  • Manage and develop the territory through proper profiling, analysis of the situation, identification of business opportunities, resource allocation, development and realization of an adapted action plan.
  • Establish and implement strategic sales plan and ability to allocate appropriate budget for GP Group practice sales activities including partnership for corporate customers with group practices
  • Identify individuals within the Group practice in the buying decision (Advocates, Endorsers, Gatekeepers) and build and maintain close business relationships with these stakeholders.
  • Be the key face of Abbott to the Group practice
  • Actively seek and identify areas for continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop Territory Business Plan based on key objectives and allocate resources (e.g. calls, budget) for optimal sales impact.
  • Executes business plan to ensure resources are directed to accounts and customers of greatest potential.
  • Work on all Group practice Tenders submission and provide relevant inputs to tender pricing proposal
  • Acts as the Lead for all Group practice Tenders
Customer Focus and Service
  • Maintain contact and relationship with key stakeholders within the group practice
  • Delivers core promotional messages within approved detail aids and in line with POA.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with strategic contact with key doctors, pharmacist, nurses, and purchasers \xe2\x80\x93 headquarters as well as GPs
  • Understands and comply with Abbott\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct.
  • Leverage key customer relationships to gain market intelligence and to assist successful formulary listing in GP Group Practice.
Reporting/ Administration
  • Timely submission of territory Monthly Reports commenting on deviations from Business Plan and intended actions to align performance with plan.
  • Comprehension and use of key reports (e.g. CLM and SFDC Dashboards)
  • Timely submission of product quality complaints, adverse events and medical inquiries to respective affiliate QA, PV and Medical functions accordingly standard operating procedure
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred / Preferably Degree in Life Sciences or related health sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of strong sales track record preferably in pharmaceutical/ healthcare industry with GP Group Practices
  • Good understanding of Private ethical group practices infrastructure and listing procedure would be preferred.
  • Strong rapport with key stake holders, eg. Purchasing and medical officer in Group Practice is recommended.
  • Sales driven, results-oriented with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess own vehicle with a class 3B license.
